The children will be creating their very own Adobe Voice (Now called Spark) https://spark.adobe.com/ recordings with their partners on the iPads during our English sessions next week and have been doing some research in class. There are a few links below that will help the children find out some interesting facts and build up their knowledge if they are keen to push on their projects. You could also use any books you may have! What will you find out?
This is the HARDER looping activity, if you haven't done looping yet, scroll down to find the first one... So after working on debugging we've decided to come back to some harder loops and reinforce our understanding using the 'Bee' looping activity - Stage 8. You can get there by clicking the image below. The video below talks you through it a little, remember, you can but a whole load of instructions into a loop, so look for patterns that you can see in the task and try and reduce the number of blocks that you use. You CAN do it! This term we have been learning about programming in Computing. By using the Lego WeDo program we have been able to control our own lego models. We have really enjoyed using the Mac computers too! After learning how to create moving models using cogs and pulleys, this week we built two dancing birds which are controlled by a series of cogs and pulleys. Over the next two weeks we will learn how to control their speed and direction along with lots of other functions. Click on the slideshow below to see us at work in the MacSuite.
